Kitchen Faucet Wholesale Checklist: Sink Fit, Connections and Samples
A kitchen faucet bulk order should begin with the sink and the exact product configuration. A matching colour or a familiar model photograph does not establish mounting fit, hose compatibility or clearance. For distributors and apartment-project buyers, a short specification sheet is more useful than a list of broad claims such as “universal” or “high flow”.
This checklist helps you prepare a comparable enquiry for the Aqvia kitchen faucet collection. Start with model 9006 or 80505 Gray as a catalogue reference, then obtain the current drawing, parts list and sample details for the version being quoted.
1. Record the sink arrangement before selecting a model
Keep one record for each sink or apartment kitchen layout. Include an overhead photograph, an underside photograph and a dimensioned sink drawing where available. Mark the faucet mounting position, bowl edges, rear wall or splashback and nearby accessories. A photograph helps explain the layout, but it does not replace measured dimensions.
| Check | Record in your enquiry | Ask the supplier to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Mounting | Hole count, hole diameter and hole spacing where applicable | Exact mounting drawing and any required cover plate |
| Deck | Finished deck thickness and underside access | Permitted clamping thickness and fixing-kit dimensions |
| Spout | Distance from mounting centre to the intended working area | Outlet reach, height and operating envelope |
| Controls | Rear and side clearances | Space needed for the full handle movement |
| Connections | Supply connection details and location | Hose ends, thread specification, seals and included adapters |
Do not substitute a standard-looking dimension for a missing drawing. Manufacturers offer different mounting arrangements; Moen’s kitchen faucet mounting guidance illustrates why the hole arrangement needs checking. That reference is general background, not a specification for an Aqvia model.
2. Separate a product reference from a confirmed configuration
Use the model number in every drawing, quotation and sample approval. For model 9006, ask the supplier to identify the water configuration, spray functions and included hose kit explicitly. For 80505 Gray, request its own dimensions and operating details rather than transferring information from the 9006 listing. These are separate catalogue references.

Compare the model 9006 product page with the 80505 Gray product page. A model title or image is a starting point for a shortlist. It is not evidence of a particular measured flow rate, pressure range or compatibility with every sink.
3. Specify what “compatible connections” means
A connection description needs more detail than a nominal size. Request the thread standard, sealing arrangement, hose length and end fittings for the supplied kit. Attach the destination-side connection information so the installer can compare both ends. Keep any adapter or additional hose as a separate quotation item unless it is explicitly included.
If a configuration uses a moving hose, ask for its routing and clearance requirements. Check the available cupboard space, nearby pipework and access to the fixing. Have the responsible installer review the actual assembly and instructions; this purchasing checklist is not an installation procedure.
4. Approve a representative sample, not just a finish photo
Order the same model revision and configuration intended for the bulk order. Keep its label, parts list and photographs together. With the installer, review mounting fit, full control movement, working reach and the supplied connections. Record the conditions used during any functional evaluation so the result can be compared with the supplier’s stated limits.
Ask for a measured flow specification with its test pressure if flow matters to the project. Ask separately about the supported water configuration and operating temperature range. Where market requirements apply, request documentation for the exact model and intended destination; a similar-looking product’s document is not a substitute.

For a coordinated range, compare physical samples under the same lighting. Use our gunmetal finish matching guide to record colour, gloss and texture. Keep the accepted sample reference in the purchase specification and identify which changes require a fresh approval.
5. Make wholesale quotations comparable
Send one row per model and finish. State the quantity, destination, required packaging, branding request and preferred delivery window. Ask the supplier to distinguish included components from options and to identify the quotation’s validity period. Sample availability, minimum quantities and lead times require confirmation for the order.
Record unit price, sample charges, optional accessories and packing costs separately. When comparing suppliers, check that both quotations cover the same model configuration and delivery scope. A lower unit price can describe a different parts kit or packaging arrangement. Resolve those differences before comparing totals.
Download the free bathroom product RFQ worksheets and add the sink-fit information above. For a branded retail range, also review the packaging approval checklist. For basin taps, use the separate basin faucet height and reach guide.
Questions to resolve before a bulk order
Will a single-hole faucet fit any single-hole sink?
No. Hole diameter, deck thickness, fixing access and the operating clearances still need to match the exact model. Confirm these against the drawing and the intended sink before approving the sample.
Can two faucets with the same colour name be treated as a matching set?
Use physical samples to decide. Record the finish reference and approval conditions for each model rather than relying on the colour name alone.
What should I send with a kitchen faucet enquiry?
Send the model reference, quantity, destination, sink drawing or measured layout, connection details and any packaging request. Identify unanswered questions clearly so they can be addressed in the quotation.
